Sierra College Library provides access to information in various formats
and supports students, employees and community users seeking information
for educational, intellectual, vocational and recreational purposes. All
library users have access to information available on the Internet and through
other online sources.
The Library does not monitor or filter information accessed through
the Internet and cannot be held responsible for its content.
- Those using the library computers are expected to:
- Use the computers for research
Respect copyright laws
Exercise judgement as to what is appropriate for display
- Library computers are not to be used for:
- Any illegal activity
- Any attempt to alter, damage, or disrupt any network services or equipment.
This includes, but is not limited to downloading or installing programs,
attempting to bypass system restrictions and altering display settings.
- Chat rooms, games, e-mail or word processing. Students may access
course-related e-mail and word processing software in LRC 444 at Rocklin
or the open lab at NCC.
